Mark has over 30 years of experience across Sydney as a Musical Director, composer, conductor, arranger, vocal coach, performer and accompanist.
Mark’s work as a musical director includes West Side Story, Little Shop of Horrors, King and I, Pirates of Penzance and The Pajama Game (Campbelltown Theatre Group), Brigadoon (Rockdale Musical Society), Godspell (T.H.E. Theatre Company), The Merry Widow (Canterbury Theatre Group) and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Engadine Musical Society).
Mark was the Musical Director of the Australian theatrical premier of Jekyll and Hyde. As a pianist, Mark’s credits include the world premiere of Jon English’ Paris. Onstage Mark was Bamatabois in Les Miserables and Pontius Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar (both for WOFTAM). Mark has also performed in cabarets and conceived and performed in original revues at the Sydney Seymour Centre.
Other credits include being principal arranger for the Cumberland Gang Show and composing original music for the musical Superkids. He also provided the arrangements and conducted the music for the opening of the Orion Centre in Campsie. Mark has been accompanist with with The Macarthur Singers since 2008. Mark was the Music Director for Oklahoma at Campbelltown Theatre Group in 2011.
